The mining and processing of China Clay (Kaolin) begins with exploration.
China Clay (Kaolin) quality varies widely from deposit to deposit – and even within the same deposit. Once mined, the crude China Clay (Kaolin) is hauled to a stockpile, where the processing journey begins.
Transporting
Clay is brought from the pit to a plant by truck, where it is processed for finished product to different specified grades.
Grinding Processing
The China Clay (Kaolin) is grinded into fine powder by grinding machines. The common grinding mill is Raymond mill. The Raymond mill is the traditonal grinding mill and porpular around the world. It features small occupying space, good uniformity of fineness of final powder, electricity system without operator. Beside, SBM have develop MTM trapezium mill and MTW trapezium mill as substitute of Raymond mill for grinding China Clay (Kaolin). It is lower consumption, lower investment, more environment friendly , smaller occupation area than Raymond mill.
