Kaolinite is one of the most common minerals. Kaolinite is used in ceramics, medicine, coated paper, as a food additive, in toothpaste, as a light diffusing material in white incandescent light bulbs, and in cosmetics. It is generally the main component in porcelain.

Hard kaolin rock must be crushed and fine grinded to get kaolinite. The crushing process can be constructed by jaw crusher, vibrating feeder, vibrating screen, and belt conveyor. Of coarse, jaw crusher can be replaced by cone crusher or impact crusher, which depends on requirement to the size, shape of the stones and design plan of kaolin production line. The grinding process includes ball mill, hopper, classifier, elevator and so on. Ball mill can be replaced by ultrafine mill, coarse powder mill, raymond mill or MTW trapezium mill.
Soft clay must be dryed before grinding. The grinding process is the same as hard kaolin rock grinding process.
