Maintenance knowledge of Impact Crusher

Impact crushers involve the use of impact rather than pressure to crush material. The material is contained within a cage, with openings on the bottom, end, or side of the desired size to allow pulverized material to escape. This type of crusher is usually used with soft and non-abrasive material such as coal, seeds, limestone, gypsum or soft metallic ores.

Impact crusher adopts the newest manufacturing technology and unique structure design, so the discharged product is with cubic and perfect shape, no tension and crack. This crusher can crush materials with size smaller than 500mm and resisting strength less than 350MPa, such as granite, limestone, concrete aggregate, etc.

Impact crusher is a crushing equipment with high-speed rotation and inertia.It is very important to do well normal handling and maintenance for safe operation in the long run. In order to guarantee normal operation and serving life of Impact Crusher, the user should always maintain the Impact Crusher in rights ways.

When stopping machines running, it should be according to the sequence of production flow chart, which is in contrary to the starting sequence: Feeder has to be stopper firstly,when materials in crusher is discharged completely, then main motor and final product conveying equipment system can be stopped.

When replacing the tear and wear parts, open the back frame first. The Impact Crusher adopt ratchet device. Remove the join screw bolts between the back frame and middle box-frame first, next two persons operate the handles on the ratchet device on two sides at the same time and open the frame slowly. Meanwhile, take advantage of the hanging device above the frame to hang up the back frame. And then move the direction-changeable handle on the ratchet wheel. Repeating the above process, close the back frame.
