A conveyor belt (or belt conveyor) consists of two or more pulleys, with a continuous loop of material - the conveyor belt - that rotates about them. One or both of the pulleys are powered, moving the belt and the material on the belt forward. Belt conveyer is a kind of machine that to transfer the material continuously. The belt works under the effect of frictional force. It is not only the components to transfer the material, but also the components to transfer the force.

Belt conveyor consists of a conveyor belt, a head ( drive) pulley, and conveyor chains and so on. The drive pulley is driven by a a reducer ( Gearmotor) either directly mounted on the shaft of the pulley or through sprockets and chains.
